Kiddy – Talk…

Some people say, ‘Go N Fly Kites’!
It sounds a rude word.
When they are irritated with someone,it’s a tendency to use such words, and many more!

I don’t exactly understand what it means.
Somehow can figure out that it means ‘Get Lost’ kind of comments.

When I saw the animation of song ‘Iccher Ghuri’ ,in Janantik presentation, I was amazed to see all those colourful beautiful Kites of all shapes.
That was the weekend I went to spend with a close family members.
Their three year old son is such a cute intelligent friendly kid. I am an instant hit with kids…lol.
He caught me watching that song on bdbangla with endless kiddy ‘quextsions’!
He asked me suddenly,’amake ekta kite kine diba?’
I am sure he has never seen a kite in real life!
So my heart went out for all the way to get a ‘kite’ for this lovely kid.
Bcoz the way he put the request was amazing!

Next…I went to a few shops where they sell such items.
But,couldn’t find any!
My quiries made the shopkeepers blinking!!!!!!!

What to do?
Not one to give up, I bought a ‘wind mill’ for him!
After all I believe that something is better than nothing!

He was more than Happy.
Within 30 minutes of reaching back home, while he was running around with a neighbour kid at corridor to get the windmill turns round n round…I heard a sound’thud’!
Yah, it fell down on the floor and the inevitable…broken!
Bcoz it was made of a kind of plastic paper.
End of the story for that day!

Kite flying used to be a great activity for all regardless of age, in villages of Bangladesh.
But,that supposed to be a century ago!
Most people living in the fast lane of life, hardly spend time on outdoor activities like kite flying these days.

Now with population explosion, lack of wide-empty play ground, it is going to be a ‘dying sports’ in Bangladesh.
In Hongkong, China, Indonesia,Malaysia, kite flying is a popular activity. Especially in China and Hongkong,it is a huge annual event.
And, there are clubs that conduct workshops about the ART OF ‘MAKING & FLYING’ KITES !

Kisher moddhe ki?
Respect a child at the same frequency as an adult.
Give everything that a child ask for,…including a piece of Advice! Lol.
Donot ignore or blast with a ‘get lost’ at any cost.
Donot repeat command to a child. They may learn that they can ignore you!
Respect is reciprocal.
So, donot ever say ‘go fly kites’ to anybody, esp. to a child.

Sounds like Chairmain Mao’s ‘all ‘Donot’s..?
But…these ‘donots’ are sign of fondness for kids.
Right???

Of Camera , Song N Sky….

Nightingale is a singing bird.
It is known for it’s nocturnal singing.
I have never seen one…even when I visited many birds’ park!
So, all about it’s image n whatever, I learnt from books!

Can anyone post a pix of Nightingale? Please.
Heyy, I am not talking about the Mattress that comes with this name.lol.
Ohh, Guru, how about an animation with a Nightingale bird singing?please..!

Do you have any collection of ground-based aerial photography?
I heard, not many photographers are interested to take such shots.
But it comes cheaper in cost, yet challenging and money not bad for pros.

They use a weather balloon, a powerful wireless transmitter, a special wide-angle non-distortion lens-camera, a harness and fishing line.

It’s a low-tech but ingenious way to take extremely high resolution photos from up to 500 meter in the air.
Its all done, without leaving the ground.
So lets see our Guru’s next ‘aerial pix’ from ground of California?
I am not joking, guru’s ‘camera-hand’ is no joke one.

And,you know, Hongkong Star Chow Yun Fatt’s own photography collections as a ‘photo book’ published by Luis Vuitton, and on sale at this luxury bag makers’ Hongkong and Paris stores.

Another info, LV bags are bought n patronized by 50% Chinese among all population around !
I See it to know if its worth the cost!!!!
I just don’t fancy it, even if ever I have the money…I wont even buy one from Thailand….lollllllll zzzzz.
Excuse me!

Pride N Stride…
When I saw a video clip uploaded by an user at KOLOROB, I was confused actually what that guy was saying exactly.
The caller was very confident on his approach.
He sounded like a pro on such psychotic behaviour. He is mentally sick no doubt as he was uttering some vulgarity openly for the whole nation to hear!

Thanks to Akhi Alamgir for maintaining her composure.
Sometime ago, I mentioned a similar incident on this khichuri corner abut that brave commentator girl in Oxford who was pinched at her bum by a fellow while on full view of a live telecast!

Bengalis are famous for their ‘retarded mindset.
But, who doesn’t know about the fact that the British would never tolerate or make a mockery of their ‘National Prestige’, for the world to see on air?!
So, obviously the guy was caught and as expected…
Such characters can’t let go on the pretext of psychiatric problems!
They are a ‘jat e metal tal e thik’ species, available anywhere!

So, when I asked a senior army officer in Bangladesh Military, if they would intervene, trace that guy and do something about it.
He said,’its of no use’…’nobody bothers’…

Talk about ‘Law & Order’?
If people think that,’I will never get away with it, so I won’t do it’…
But, ‘chor na shone dhormer kahini’, that’s the case with habitual offenders!

If we donot change our moral character, donot love our Country to upheld its Prestige by Heart and by action, even God can’t help this ‘Nation’!

Not all humans are born ‘equal’…that’s how, many among us ‘confidentl’ put our ‘image at stake’ nationally and globally!

*(remember how they used to ‘shower’ the shoutbox of bdbangla during closeup1 music contest last time?
They are so-called ‘educated-computer- savvy’ living in countries of ‘standard class’ outside Bangladesh…!
That is how they show their ‘standard’ness and ‘classy upbringing’…irrespec tive of where they live!)*

Excuse me !

Food Or Thought????

Why do we call it a ‘Grape fruit’ when it has nothing to do with ‘Grapes family’?
Is it not only a citrus fruit?

Guru is right…why?
He says,’donot judge a natok by it’s title’!

And, most of the Chef de Fame are ‘Male’ species!
And…’Niramish’s glamorous name ‘shukto’!

Aha! I,so often get a bite or two of ‘hugna roti’ with so-called ‘shukto’ from my nani…without knowing the same ‘niramish’ some people ‘shukto’ bole chalay.

Ohh, about ‘hugna roti’…it’s the dry chapati, somebody called ‘hugna’ once…n I got the fun of it since…labormind…anyt hing can be called by any name…taste is same na?
But, what we know about shukto,is something else, and a different story.!

I enjoy watching culinary shows on television.
Big deal? Nah, I would love to watch n read everything if only I could live a few hundred years!

Even a recipe book of Siddika kabir I won’t let go a page!
Sadly,I don’t have that book…only have a glance each time I visit a relative who has that book ‘signed n gift’-ed personally by that ‘kitchen legend of BD’!(ohh, she is remotely related to SK…)
No big deal. But I enjoy SK's simple methods of description, n learn new new ‘culinary words’ in bangla!

Soon I get a thought-block about the whole episode of cooking.
I don’t ever follow a measuring scale, tsp(tea spoon), measuring cup or whatever to measure the ingredients!
Its always a pinch of this, a dash of that, and a bowl of whateverrr!
Habits acquired from nani, hard to die!!

I believe, cooking is an ART…Artificial Rondhon Technique.
It needs a tremendous talent which I lack in abundance.
So, I have absolutely no inclination to step in the kitchen for a hearty meal to cook for others!
Though, I don’t mind being an assistant at any occasion which deals with katakati of aloo-salads-roshun and washing dishes!
To cut or touch a raw fish or chicken is a No-no-N-no!
Bcoz, I don’t eat of those fish or chicks if i cook myself.

But, I am definitely not a salt-shaker…I do know the basic cooking specialing Khichuri N ‘Dail’!
Its not an attitude. Just a plain ‘no-interest’.
Though,I can concoct n cook anything to save my life!! I am not a voracious eater,I can fuck into a burger or cornflakes anytime happily.

Jokes aside, the most important peoplez in my life never has a qualm for me not venturing into culinary arena!
So, why do I worry?

Ohh, I do worry??!!
Bcoz, food is the only way(?) to keep another heart warm…I heard.
Huh!...Siddika K is there na for rescue?
Let the time decide it’s fate!!

“All’s well that ends well”…this simple phrase was first said by Shakespeare…or William Spearshake?
Now,it is a precious one-liner…lemme stuck with this, and live for ‘today’.
Why spoil the ‘tomorrow’ by worrying about cooking quandary!!??
