When we flood shoutbox with shouts of funs,its expected to get the bashing as good as we give!
if not where is the fun?
anyways...I appreciate Paagol's sense of humor..just talking about a particular incident,bcoz i also appreciate all others who has great sense of humor and share it with us in bdbangla family.
Talking about Khairul who seemed to be cooled off at times when such comments r thrusted by some with plain innocent fun.
obviously, if one suffers from some'complex',its expected.
Thats why at times he withdraws and 'shongkhobash' for a few days,or disappears in the name of 'fokiranti'.loll.
Khairul,the 'VOLTAIRE' of bdbangla,whose philosophy is,"I disapprove of what you say,but I will defend to the death your right to say it".
....lemme tke a brek,for all to breath...lol.
If u all assure me that u dont get an indigestion with my khichuri over-dose..i m everwilling to supply...
well,heres what i m gonna say after a break n fresh renewed breath...
The Baghdad based muslim mystic n thinker Al-Ghazali once was so incensed by the philosophical works of Al-Farabi and Ibn Sina (two other revered muslim philosopher who preceded Al=Ghazali) that he wrote an entire treatise attacking their ideas.
Al-Ghazali titled his work quite unappologetically,"
Tahaful Al-Falasifah"(The Incoherence of the Philosophers").
Another renowned muslim thinker Ibn Rushd wrote an entire rebuttal of Al-Ghazali refutation later.Ibn Rushd cheekily titles his rebuttal "Tahaful Al-Tahaful"(The Incoherence of the Incoherent")!
These thinkers r universally respected as heroes in clssical Islamic Thought.All their works including Tahaful l-Falasifah & Tahaful Al-Tahaful,are considered classics in debates on the roles of philosophy,theology & spirituality in Islam.
Why am I saying all these?
Yes,we should argue..as in a family we do, but not withdraw!
