Debate>>Brain-storm or Heart-storm ??
People feel good about sharing their input.
A Forum or debate is basically addressed to whip up a brain storm.
All participants contribute ideas…they create an environment in which the group shares honest points upfront, establish trust and build relations from the onset.
A productive atmosphere with free flow of thoughts can build close rapport.
To motivate and appreciate, incentives as prizes for the ‘most n best ideas’ used ,are given away.
However, it is possible for participants to veer off the track of discussions. They are not condemned either.
Those who are exposed to frequent seminars,know about the term “Parking lot”. Its used for all ideas that are too far off the subject.
These off-track ideas/suggestions are kept ‘noted’ by the judges, as/ at ‘parking lot’ and re-visited about the ‘pros-cons-humour’ side of it later during the final discussions !
Participants should know their challenges only to move independent thinking within a limited ‘time span’,and expand already an ‘existing ideas’.
They donot have to take care of ‘parking lot’!
When the thoughts start running dry during a session, organizing committee often introduce ‘ ice-breakers’,such as puzzles, brain-teasers, to help stimulate creative ideas.
Here,in this forum, everything is designed as ‘free-flowing’,’fun-
loving’,’get-
together’ session for members…and its an ‘unspoken rule’ that we understand from very beginning as a family.
We are not at a ‘high-speed thinking session’ either. Its not a press-conference to make statements with caution or for effect !
So it is extremely childish for anybody to expect a contributor to be in ‘professional mode’.
Seriousness has a limitation. Its not for the participant to ‘dig’ a ‘parking lot’ for ‘gold’ suggestions,instead of ‘light moments’ of humour in good faith !
So, Deabte N Discuss as a team, Not as ‘enemy’,to drive away others!!!

No risk No gain.
You can drive the car and apply mascara at the same time.
But you risk to stab your eye ball with a mascara wand, if needs to brake or ram the back of the other car infront !
Choice is yours.
Money talks…and, Money matters !
All the money that’s spent to discover other planets,could habe been used to feed all the ‘unfed’ people in this world for the rest of their life…could be used for research of inventing ‘cure’ for so-called ‘incurable diseases !
Those people in subcontinent,especia
lly Bangladeshi general workers from low income group,investing an awful sum of money with agents to go to developing countries,to arn more and change their life…many getting cheated by unscrupulous agents of own country men. But, do they stop taking the risk? Because there are many who are showing example of prosperity by following that same method.
So, hope against hope,people keep hoping!
Policy to take care of people by the Govt is not same in every country. The jobless gets ‘bekar-vaata’, the sick gets free health service,and all that…not in Bangladesh atleast!
Recently,an incident in Dhaka,where both of the two children(school-
going) were kidnapped for a ransom of 3 lakhs taka or something.
The family may live a decent living with well-paid job,children study in posh private school,doesn’t mean such a family would have stashed away millions elsewhere? They might be contented enough with what they have to live with dignity and proper planning, in own country.
But, to give away such hefty amount just like that? To whom? To those hoodlums,who are destroying the ‘peace n order’ of everyday life of people?
Then,again…whats money…if kidnappers kill the children? Nothing is left in this life for a ‘Meaning’!
So, the family raised the money,settled with those kidnappers,and got back the children !
They didn’t think its worth wasting time negotiating and informing police. As the scenario goes, these days, public has lost faith in ‘police’ honesty and their capability!
(sorry, police-corruption prevails all over the world,with varied intensity though!)
After this incident,do you think,that family would ever forget the nightmare?
Somehow, they must have been planning by now,to send those children away from own country , for a ‘better-safer-
whatever’ life in another country?!!

A quote from Mahatma Gandhi,”Rights that donot flow from duty well-performed are not worth having”.
It’s easy to point fingers at government, or at own community for being deprived,being lived in own country. Yet, there are many who have chosen to channel their energy and qualifications into something worthwhile,and make something for themselves by staying in own country.
There are many who faced walls & barriers,but decided Not to stop there. And, with sheer hard work and determination,have made much more with ‘status and finance’ for themselves…both places in home N abroad.
If we talk about racial discrimination,then,
isn’t it a fact that we face discrimination in many places,home n abroad inclusive?
Community,colour,rac
e, religion,gender, what not? Irrespective of holding a passport of any colour?
So, lets face it. There’s no one government,or a person, or race,religion in the world that’s perfect. If it were,then there certainly would be a mass exodus to that ‘utopia’.
All we have to do is free ourselves from this ‘The world owes me’ mentality, and learn to help ourselves,wherever we live-does it matter?
There are Bengalis world-wide ‘well-respected’ N ‘well-placed’, and also ‘well-connected’ to their roots …doing great job to ‘pull N push-up’ their relatives N villagers left behind in Bangladesh.
So, what are we talking about now?
Our own ‘brain’ needs a ‘service’,to help ourselves,our own race and own community first.
Brain can’t be drained or gained…just ‘balance’ it in ‘both ways’!!!
