Lift-in-g Story !
Do you think moving your office to home could be one of the most stressful thing in life?
But, I think otherwise.
So, I do half my work at home.
I am a clinical assistant to a psychologist as a part- timer.
So,that makes things not questionable but understandable.
Whats no need to do at office,or can be done later, or even can be done at home…then why not bring it back, do it at leisure,with a cuppa..a tv show..a down-loaded drama serial..a chat on phone or computer..or, even with a computer game at any wee hours?..ooppss…!
Anything can go along…why notttttttt????
Life can’t be more blissful than such an arrangement,when your own class-assignments can be done simultaneously too!
Call it a ‘mess’ of everything…in other words, a khichuri arrangements?
Aha…I bet, you will want my life!!
When somebody not so familiar,see me with two bags on shoulder, some files on one hand, a laptop on another,and struggling to pop-out a finger to press the lift button, come forward to help press it with a return-smile,with an opportunity to converse,’moving out’?
In my heart I say,’Nahi’…but my facial expression make the person confused,..and, before the second ‘quexction’ I am already out of the lift and heading towards car park !
Do you know,many kids hardly can pronounce the word ‘question’?
And, I hardly can say ‘Quex-sion’!
But, I love to say it,eversince I saw the cartoon about a conversation between a ‘speech-ually’ handicapped talkative child and his father who try to correct him at every opportunity. Its sad, but hilarious no doubt.
With friends ,I try to make such funny-pronounced words as part of my natural cadence of speech !
Another of my favorite word is ‘labor mind’ ( a ‘never mind’, pronounced by sylhettys in uk.)…that I picked up from a chatroom friend!
By the way…Adnan Sami’s ‘>Lift kara de> is my favorite.
Kisher moddhe ki holo?

Picks N Pickles….
People tend to enjoy using words or phrases that are contradictory!
It’s been since ancient days, proverbs,anecdotes etc had been used by people who were litarally uneducated, but used creative wisdom to over-power the deficiency and lead social life with dominance!
Thus,tradition remained,and developed further.
We learnt those basics and apply in our working life.
God has given us wonderful brains with a huge capacity for intelligent thoughts.
Einstein said,’Information is not Knowledge’…
I disagree with him.
Information makes one knowledgeable.
And, Knowledge is Power!
The knowledge we gain, re-apply & develop further,to pass it on others!
One example, “Red Queen Effect”…
It’s a term,created by Biologist Leigh Van Valen, to describe,the evolutionary necessity to evolve faster than one’s competitors.
He discovered it from “Through the Looking Glass”-a sequel of “Alice in Wonderland”…in which,the Red Queen tells Alice,”It takes all the running you can do to stay in the same place. If you want to get somewhere else, you must run atleast twice as fast as that”.
Then, we all have been told, ’Nothing is Impossible to do if you have will power enough’.
But…can we ‘Square a Circle’?
Can a leopard change it’s spots?
If its possible by the scienctist’s effort-system (like cloning n blah blah blah),then it is nomore going to be called a leopard,na?
Ohh, I get so easily distracted…kisher moddhe sharakhon ki…
Yah, I was saying about contradiction in human mind and behaviour.
How a ‘pain with pleasure’,’sweet with sour’, ‘black n white’, ‘far n near’…and so on…are possible?
Can a swearing word do any justice to the battered physical pain N ego?
Attack is the best mode of defence?
Our hypocrisy knows no bounds…that’s why we even make it, ‘যাহা বায়ান্ন, তাহাই তেপ্পান্ন’...
বললেই হোলো?
But, বললেও হয় বটে; look at Janantik’s Sukumar-collection-
khichuri(?!!!) in his signature?
Whatever it is…to make square a circle, or push the 52 to 53…all are possibly back to the square one, if we have a giant-sized ego!!
With knowledge we enrich ourselves, enrich the society in some ways.
So, Ignorance can never ever be Bliss.
Bcoz, what you don’t know,won’t hurt you.
But everyone around would think you are a Fool!
Last but not least,…some unknown guy sent me a tiny one-liner mail in Kolorob, asking ‘how to make money’!!?
Heaven forbid…God…I need that very idea right now, to depart a part of my wisdom to make money(??)…How?????
Sieze your knowledge N Size your world…then think of making money!
