Dear All
As a Muslim it is compulsory for all of us to pay Zakaah.
Last couple of years I have witnessed that we Bangaladeshi's have a tendency to pay our Zakaah with our local islamic centers or paki or ME based islamic organisation.
I agree that it's easy and it is wise to pay your zakaah to your locality but as a bangali we know better than anyone else that what's our countries social situation in this regard if we calculate our zakat in dollar riyal dirham ringit pound whatever currency you use and send the same amount to Bangladesh directly to the known relatives who are entitled for zakat or our families to geive to the poor people I think it would be a great payback for our country once where we born and broughtup.
