On Sunday, Mary went to Sunday School, and was so bored with it that she fell asleep on her desk. Sister Martha, the nun in charge, saw Mary was asleep and asked her "Mary, who is our Lord and Savior?" Now, sitting behind Mary was lilttle Johnny, and he wanted to help out Mary, so he poked her roughly in the back with his pencil. Mary sat up and shouted "Jesus Christ!" "Very good," said Sister Martha. And then Mary fell asleep again. Sister Martha asked Mary another question "Mary, who created the heavens and the earth?" Little Johnny poked her with the pencil again, and Mary shouted "God Almighty!" "Excellent" said Sister Martha. And Mary fell asleep yet again. Sister Martha, a while later, asked Mary a third question "Mary, what did Eve say to Adam after she had their eightith child?" And again Johnny poked her with the pencil. At this, Mary sat up and shouted "If you stick that thing in me one more time I'll break it in half!"
